The Stranger (2008)

Based on the 1967 film “Lo straniero” by Italian film director Luchino Visconti which is the adaptation of the famous Albert Camus novel, “The Stranger” captures the essential scene in the movie and the book of Marseault’s encounter with the Arab on the beach. VHS tape symbolizes the sequence of events and signifies the beach encounter with a bloody frame exactly where the event would have taken place with regards to proportions of the VHS tape used and the time the event occurs both in the book and the movie.
